Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026 (leaderboard sign-in added)
Animal Moto ("the game") is an arcade racing game for the web and for iPhone and iPad. This page explains what information the game uses.
What stays on your device
Your progress (cash, unlocked bikes and tracks, settings, language) is saved only on your device, in local storage. We never receive it. Deleting the app or clearing your browser data erases it.
Private rooms (online play)
If you create or join a private room, the game connects to our server at animalrushmoto.com. It receives the display name you type, your chosen animal, the room code, and your in-race position and actions, so other players in the same room can see you. This data is held in memory only while the room is open and is discarded when the room closes. We do not store it, create accounts, or link it to you. There is no chat. Display names are limited to 12 plain characters. Use a nickname, not your real name.
Leaderboard and sign-in
Signing in is optional and only needed to appear on the leaderboard. You can sign in with Google or, in the iPhone and iPad app, with Apple. We receive an opaque account identifier from the provider, never your email address or real name (Apple's sign-in is requested with no personal details). We store that identifier, the leaderboard name you choose, and your best race time on each track. The name and times are visible to everyone who opens the leaderboard, so choose a nickname, not your real name. You can delete your account at any time from the leaderboard screen (Ranks → Delete Account), which erases the identifier, your name and all your times from our server.
What we do not collect
The iPhone and iPad app does not contain advertising, analytics, or tracking, and does not ask for your location, contacts, photos, or microphone. We do not collect your email address. We do not sell or share personal information.
Website
The web version at animalrushmoto.com may show ads provided by Google AdSense, which can use cookies under Google's own policy (policies.google.com/technologies/ads). The app does not show ads. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard connection data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.
Children
The game is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do. Questions: [email protected].
